However, the procedure stated by French law and the French Association of Chartered Accountants (Ordre des Experts-Comptables) is very clear on this: the entire transfer is the responsibility of the new accountant.

- We then recover all of your data and accounting documents from your previous accountant
- We start our collaboration and train you on your new digital tools (including QuickBooks, Receipt Bank …)
Note: In France, the engagement letter signed with your Chartered Accountant includes by default a tacit renewal condition. Generally, you have the possibility to denounce the mission 3 months before the end of your financial year (by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt). If applicable, a penalty equal to 25% of the total fees of the previous year may be applied.
